Sunday School Department teaches bible lessons to all age levels, it focuses on various Biblical topics for the spiritual growth of those who attend. Sunday School is also evangelical in its teaching of the Gospel of salvation to all who attend. "A Child Saved is a Soul Saved, Plus a Life"
Women's Department is committed to meeting the diverse needs of women in the church by providing encouragement at conferences, fellowships and other special events.
Music Department is established to minister to the people through music and songs of faith ministered through the power of God. Our mission is to create an atmosphere that will usher in the Holy Spirit to prepare the minds of the people to receive the Word of God.
Deacons are the administrative assistants to the Pastor in the matter of temporal affairs in the congregation and receive their directions from the Pastor. The Deacons receive the funds given for the support of the ministry under the direction of the Pastor, they are also lay preachers in the Church and thus are enjoined by scripture to be “apt to teach.” In the absence of Elders, under the direction of the Pastor, a deacon may be assigned to minister in the congregation. The Deacons are the spiritual assistants to the Shepherd of the Flock and their title implies “servant;” therefore, our deacons serve the congregation in temporal and spiritual matters whenever feasible and as directed by the Shepherd.
Usher Board The Usher Board serves as the pastor's personal representatives to the congregations and visitors to the church. Ushers greet people when they first arrive at church, provide assistance to people before, during, and throughout the service. An usher helps members and visitors feel comfortable by directing those in service and serves with spiritual dignity during the church service
Youth Department mission is to nurture the individual as a whole person. It is our endeavor to enrich our youth mentally, physically, emotionally, socially, intellectually, and spiritually. We purpose to lend spiritual support to believers in Christ and to reach the non-believer by our living example through the Word of God.
Mothers Board role and responsibility to help build every C.O.G.I.C. auxiliary of the Women's Department at the local, district, and national church. The Mothers' Board teaches women how to support the church, the pastor, and their families. The church mothers should have information that is readily accessible as to the functions of every auxiliary. They should be able to plan and organize the women's auxiliaries so that they are properly staffed and functioning. The Mothers' Board help to ensure that our church is a strong church, spirit-filled, and well organized House Of God. Effective mothers' boards operate under the authority of the pastor, and the officers of the church. The work of the Mother's Board does not take from the pastor, it serves to enhance our programs and help to build the Kingdom Of God .
Pastor Aide role is to endeavor to be an aid to the pastor. Our mission is to support the Pastor beyond providing the obvious necessities by anticipating his administrative and personal require granting his requests.
Children's Ministry endeavors to shape the spiritual lives of children through Christian education, music, and a variety of other fun, enriching activities.
Sunshine Band primary focus is to reach out to our children, and offer an opportunity for them to receive salvation in their productive years. Through meaningful and wholesome activities such as music, bible study, drama, arts, crafts and field trips. The Sunshine Band teaches children about God; the love of God and God's Son Jesus; basic Bible concepts and knowledge; the ins and out of minstry servng; scriptures that provide a foundation for understanding, faith, love, grace, salvation and practical precepts for living holy and productive lives.
Evangelist Department endeavor is to promote strong Christian families in order to create an atmosphere that nurtures positive relationships. In conjunction with our worship of God, we want to serve our communities to foster cultural relevance with scriptural integrity while retaining the traditions of our Pentecostal Heritage.
